Kitsap Kids Dentistry

This was a fantastic dentist visit! My little one is only 1 year old, but this was still an overwhelmingly positive experience at the dentist. The digital paperwork processes were simple and effective. The facility is clean, cozy, and feels inviting. The staff were all friendly, approachable, professional, and knowledgeable. Dr. Banks was so kind and made his first dentist visit memorable. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

I can not recommend this place enough. I have a 2.5 and 3.5 year old that both go here and have been going here since infancy. All of the staff are so fun, nice, and patient. My son has a lot of anxiety and struggles with dental visits and they are so patient with him and make adjustments to do things in any way that makes him comfortable. Each visit he is less anxious and more comfortable and cooperative. We absolutely love Dr. Banks, she has the most magical way with children. She’s so gentle, soothing, and efficient. Give them a try, you won’t regret it!

I was blown away in the best way with everything about this place and the care my child received. We had been to another pediatric dentist previously that I was not impressed with. Kitsap Kids Dentistry has thought through every small detail of the experience and exceeded every expectation I had. When we walked in, my four year old daughter noticed her name on a chalkboard welcoming her. The desk staff that greeted us were very kind and went out of their way to acknowledge my daughter (most places just ignore the kids). They even had a little slide and play structure in the waiting room. Everything is beach themed and absolutely adorable. The hygienist, Miss Hailey was amazing! She explained everything in the sweetest most age appropriate way to my child and made her feel exceedingly comfortable. There were even several little fun activities to keep her little brother (2) entertained in the exam room. Both of my kids came home and were extra excited about their visit and motivated to care for their teeth going forward. Clearly, I can't recommend this place enough. Definitely take your kids there for their dental care!

100% THE BEST!! I wish every child had the luxury of coming to Kitsap Kids. Dr. Banks and her entire staff is AMAZING, incredibly kind, patient, informative and fun. They fully support your beliefs in what is best in treatment for your family and they make you feel so welcome and valued. Been bringing my daughter here her entire life and after some insurance changes had to go elsewhere - 4 different dental offices later, we RAN BACK full speed and more than happy to pay out-of-pocket for the care provided here. This office is very kid friendly as far as the decor goes, definitely helps put kids at ease. But as far as the actual dental care goes? It’s pretty hit or miss. I had two kids have their crowns fall off and have to be replaced and another kid had a filling fail and ended up with their tooth having to be pulled. All in all, my kids ended up with more dental trauma than needed and we no longer go here. What cemented the decision for me was when I took my son to get a second opinion on something and the doctor asked if I had ever brought it up before, because it could have been helped… I had been bringing it up since my kid was a baby! But my concerns were not heard at Kitsap Kid Dentistry and I believe that my children’s oral health suffered because of bringing them here.

We transferred our kid here because one of my friends recommended them. The service and environment was nice. I provided our dental insurance plan and info ahead of time (about 2-3 weeks before the visit) by email and by app. They also did some treatment with insurance estimates for us at the clinic during the visit, so we choose to do the treatment for my daughter as well. However, it turns out that they are out of network for our insurance and they’ve never informed us about it. That surprised me a lot and we ended up paying about $200 for this routine checkup out of our own pocket. I am very disappointed about this insurance issue. Other than the insurance issue, the visit was good.

Took both of my kids here today. I'm impressed of all staff. Such a warm and nice atmosphere. Everyone is so attentive to listening to my kids. Explaining everything in detail. Connect well with the kids during the appointment, making them feel comfortable. This is place is incredible and I'd give 10 stars. They won't disappoint you or your family. I'll be forever coming back.
